City Council Meeting Postponed
The November City Council Meeting will be postponed due to this year’s election. The meeting will now be held Wednesday, November 9th at 7:00 pm at City Hall.

Prophetstown Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants on October 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2022. Water will be slightly discolored during this time.
Trick-or-Treat hours will be held on Halloween evening from 5:00-7:00.
Prophetstown Proud will be holding its City Wide Garage Sale Days on October 7,8 & 9, as well as Harvest Days on October 8th from 9 – 3.
City Hall will be closed Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. Office hours will resume Tuesday, September 6th as normal. Payment can be made online or left in the drop box.
Public works will be holding E-waste disposal on Saturday, August 27th at 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Location: This will take place at the Public Works building at 233 E. Railroad St.

Effective July 1, 2022, the minimum water rate will go from $12.33 to $24.33 for the first 3,000 gallons, and 1.50 for every 1,000 gallons after that. Water bills will reflect this increase immediately.
Prophetstown Public Works will be flushing all fire hydrants in the city on Wednesday, June 29th. This may cause discoloration of water, which can be resolved by running your tap for a short period of time.

This year’s fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 3rd at dusk. Events will be held at the Prophetstown State Park.
City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 7am to noon and 12:30-3:30pm.
