Electric Aggregation Program

Dear City of Prophetstown Residents, You are all now receiving NEW letters from DYNEGY for your Electric Municipal Aggregation Program. It is legit this will be the new City Supplier for the energy service. If you wish to stay with the Aggregation Program you do not have to do anything , you will be automatically renewed into the program. If you wish to opt out you will just sign the yellow card and send it back. NO ONE will come to your door to have you sign up or look at your previous bills. IF this happens you send them away!! If anyone EVER comes to your door you ask for a permit from the City and call city hall at 815-537-5598!! Thank you!!


City Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.

Fall landscape pickup is the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
