Municipal Secretary Wanted

Professional office is looking for a hard working individual to fulfill the following duties. This position requires daily customer relations with water-bill customers and citizens having dealings with the police department and the Mayor. All banking, billing, and collecting for 3 departments. Payroll for city Employees, Elected Officials, and Public Library Staff. This person is responsible for the water billing, city accounts, and organizing and maintaining files. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and be motivated to work with minimal supervision. Starting pay will be between $19 to $25 per hour and is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience. Preferred experience would include payroll, and basics of accounting.
